We’re looking for an Operations & Culture Manager to help shape the everyday experience of working at Grow. In this role, you’ll balance seamless operations with people-first experiences, creating a foundation where operational excellence and team connection thrive together. Your work will directly shape the culture, efficiency, and energy of our team.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and proactive, with a natural ability to connect people and spark positivity. You thrive on details, but also see the bigger picture of how efficient operations can elevate a workplace. You’re equally comfortable managing employee programs and events, coordinating the details that keep operations running smoothly, and rolling up your sleeves to handle the hands-on needs of our office and facilities — all with a people-first mindset that makes Grow an even better place to work.
Responsibilities:
Manage the overall office experience, creating a frictionless environment where employees can do their best work. This includes keeping the office and its equipment well-maintained, stocked, and organized — with thoughtful touches that elevate the experience.
Plan and execute company events that keep our team informed, connected, and energized, including all-hands meetings, team gatherings, and celebrations.
Promote team energy, positivity, and inclusivity through regular company communications and fostering team connections.
Manage employee benefit and perk programs, helping employees access and enjoy all the resources available to them.
Lead the onboarding and offboarding process for employees and freelancers, ensuring smooth transitions.
Coordinate employee equipment needs, including purchasing, setup, and maintenance.
Help our employees get the most of Assembly’s events, programs, and resources. Collaborate with Assembly staff on programs and events that align with Grow’s mission and employee interests.
Support employee relations, ensuring feedback and issues are captured and addressed.
Provide a welcoming experience for office guests by coordinating travel, accommodations, and on-site hosting.
Manage the Grow apartment, ensuring it is comfortable, stocked, and guest-ready at all times.

Requirements
2+ years of experience in operations, office management, or a related role.
Experience supporting HR programs or culture initiatives is a plus, but not required.
Must be eligible to work in the United States

Location
This is a full-time position at our office in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Grow offers paid relocation to the Norfolk-Virginia Beach region as well as temporary housing for selected candidates.
